We started off with a nice breakfast of eggs, bacon, and toast. Britt opened some presents from me.
Later when she got home from work, she opened some more presents including tons of fun stuff from Mom which Britt obviously loved.
And we ended the day with a visit to The Melting Pot. Though we had to wait for a while to get in, it was totally worth it.

Dad's sure enjoying that book you gave him. With all his time in doctor's offices he actually is getting it read!
I'm glad he's enjoying that book. I was afraid he wouldn't be able to find the time.
Britt got a TON of books for her b-day, but I'll let her tell you what ones cause I can hardly remember them all.
I think it's funny to look at the difference between the first picture and the second. The first picture is before school and I look all happy and cute.Then... I go to a long exhausting day of trying to teach my resistant junior high students math and it shows. The second picture was right after I got home from school and I look tired and haggard.(Then I go to melting pot and of course I look happy because I'm eating good food!!)
I still think you're always beautiful. Even after a long day!
I was thinking the same thing. That middle picture is awesome, especially if it is your tired worn out look!
Did you know if you blow up that last picture really big, you can almost smell the fondue? Yum...fondue.
OOOhhhh! so THAT's where that smell was coming from...
